1964 VW single cab pickup

Up for sale is my Single Cab...It has been my daily driver, but I must sell it...

The Good:
Solid truck with all original components
Dash uncut and in good shape
All dropgates are there, straight, and definately useable
Front is dent and rust free
treasure chest is in good condition
bed is in great condition
all around in good condition
has title


The bad:
motor needs work...has knock in rod bearing...rebuilt motor can be had for $1000 on the Samba...
rockers are rusted through...pretty typical...
battery compartment is rusted through...
sidegates have rust through on the bottom(easily fixed)straight otherwise...
floor boards have been repaired with a liscense plate patch...

Overall: I am very proud to drive this single cab pickup...I used it as a work rig up until a couple of months ago...It is in good condition for a 1964 VW...
I am asking $4500.00 for the truck, and I am firm on this price...I know what they are worth, and you won't be dissapointed at that price...Good daily driver or restore candidate...
